Job Description:
A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims
Representative to assist hospitals and medical providers in
resolving accounts related to work-related injuries.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and manage a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts,
ensuring timely resolution and adherence to quality standards
Contact various parties to obtain necessary injury and insurance
information, and submit claims to insurance carriers
Review payments and denials, write and submit appeals, and provide
customer service throughout the claims process
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, coding, or
claims adjudication
Proficient in data entry and MS Office applications
Ability to manage a large workload efficiently and adapt to
changing priorities
Strong customer service background with a positive attitude
