Job Description:
A company is looking for a Catastrophic and Rehabilitation
Referral Care Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and manage referrals for Catastrophic and Complex Durable
Medical Equipment (DME), ensuring timely communication and
authorization
Coordinate with referral sources, injured workers, and DME
providers to ensure appropriate equipment delivery and customer
satisfaction
Provide accurate pricing to the Billing Department and expand the
list of DME providers while maintaining compliance with regulatory
requirements
Required Qualifications:
Some college credit and/or experience in a related discipline
At least one year of related experience in complex referrals or DME
processing
Proficient in standard office software and medical terminology
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with regulatory
requirements
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with
minimal supervision
