love to use.Job Summary:As a Senior Software Engineer, you will
assume a critical role within our team, working to shape the future
of our Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for the
delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our user
base. You will contribute to the implementation of cutting-edge
Salesforce technologies, drive best practices, and foster a culture
of innovation and excellence within the team.The candidate must be
fluent in Apex, SOQL, and SOSL. The right person should also blend
his/her engineering abilities with strong collaboration skills to
work alongside the team to deliver performant and scalable features
into Production. While The Walt Disney Company is a large company,
ideally, we'd like if you have some previous experience in a U.S.
startup environment and be comfortable performing multiple roles.

initiatives.Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
- Design and develop high-quality solutions on the Salesforce
platform, showcasing advanced proficiency in Apex, SOQL/SOSL,
RESTful services, LWCs, and Aura.
- Implement Salesforce architecture and development strategies
that align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to develop automation rules,
Engagement Studio programs, and other Pardot/MCAE functionality to
support marketing teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other
stakeholders to translate user requirements into functional and
scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Champion best practices for Salesforce development, ensuring
adherence to quality standards and coding guidelines.
- Stay abreast of the latest Salesforce trends and technologies,
ensuring the team remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Conduct technical reviews, provide guidance on technical debt
reduction, and oversee the implementation of continuous improvement
initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Salesforce issues, ensuring
system stability and performance.
- Document technical decisions and maintain comprehensible
documentation for future reference.Required Qualifications:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer
Information Systems, Engineering, or another technical field.
- Have 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Have deep expertise with Sales Cloud, including Lightning
Flows, Apex Triggers, and SOQL/SOSL, Pardot APIs, Salesforce APIs,
and RESTful APIs.
- Have strong understanding of Pardot's features, including
automation rules, segmentation, lead scoring, and engagement
programs.
- Have strong skills in creating and managing automated marketing
workflows, including setting up drip campaigns, lead nurturing, and
using triggers and actions to automate repetitive tasks.
- Have knowledge of HTML and CSS for customizing email templates
and landing pages.
- Have knowledge in integrations between Salesforce and
MCAE/Pardot.
- Have a track record of championing quality engineering: be
adamant that all code is written in a way that can be tested with
unit tests.
- Have experience working with high-performing teams using Agile
and Lean methodologies and frameworks.
- Care about your craft and have opinions about the right way to
do things with technology.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Marketing Cloud.
- Pardot/MCAE Certifications.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II or other Developer
Certifications.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations with external
services.
- Hands-on DevOps experience with Copado or other tools.
- Familiarity with Experience Cloud.
- Familiarity with Lightning Web Components, the Salesforce
Lightning Design System (SLDS).
- Previous work experience in Ad Sales.
- Strong curiosity about how Disney delivers the Magic and a
desire to be a part of it.
- Experience with Java/Python, SQL Databases and AWS/Azure.
- Experience with Web development (React, Angular etc.).The
hiring range for this position in Seattle, Washington and New York,
NY is $145,500 to $195,000 per year. Santa Monica, CA is $138,900
to $186,200 per year, San Francisco, CA is $152,100 to $203,900 per
year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal
equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic
region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other
factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided
as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range
of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the
level and position offered.
