Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Financial Accounting and
Reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead accounting, financial reporting, and analysis functions for
assigned lines of business
Direct the preparation and review of financial statements and
ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Monitor financial risks and implement internal controls while
collaborating with internal and external auditors
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 6 years of management experience in a relevant
functional area
In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
(GAAP) and NAIC's Model Audit Rule (MAR)
Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple
large projects
Demonstrated ability to influence senior management and business
partners effectively
