Manager Corporate Development facilitates the growth of the
organization through all phases of the acquisition and development
process. They will work in collaboration with the Market, Area and
Corporate teams playing a critical role by supporting the planning,
analysis, and evaluation of our largest and most strategic
investments.-- This role will encompass a wide range of activities
related to developing and executing our strategy, including
collaborating with internal business partners and external sources
to vet and identify potential targets, assessing strategic fit,
conducting financial and valuation analysis, executing
transactions, and supporting integration.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enable the company-wide execution of Republic's acquisition
strategies in close alignment with the business stakeholders and
the broader Corporate Development team
- Identify inorganic and organic opportunities to accelerate
strategy or fill gaps; developing business cases in partnership
with internal stakeholders; and, execution of highly complex
Corporate Development transactions
- Demonstrated ability to create, maintain and review financial
models and valuation analyses
- Project manage acquisition opportunities throughout all phases
of the process (sourcing, valuation, negotiation, diligence and
integration)
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with targeted
business owners
- Uses interpersonal leadership and influencing skills to achieve
goals without direct control over resources
- Utilize strong analytical, conceptual and creative thinking,
with ability to develop business insights and hypotheses
- Strong communication and presentation skills, and confidence
presenting to and working closely with senior management
- Participate in broad, multi-functional matrixed teams that are
assembled to work on specific transaction projects
- Manage multiple projects and competing priorities in
parallel
- This position may require travel up to 30% of the time
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience managing M&A Projects in excess of $5
million.
- Experience in maintaining deep environmental services industry
relationshipsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:--
- 5 years of related experience in business or financial analysis
or accounting.
- 5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions.Rewarding
